My passion for the art and avid desire to learn the trade has shaped me into a freelance photographer excited to photograph your engagement, wedding, pregnancy, newborn, family portraits, head shots, sporting events, school and graduation photos, company events, holiday and birthday parties, shows, and concerts!

My name is Sarah Persinger. At a very young age I discovered my love of photography.  I found an old camera in my parents' china cabinet and very rarely since then has a camera been far from my side. In high school and college I took photography classes where I used the "old fashioned" 35mm film and spent countless hours in the darkroom. I still claim that there is no place more soothing than a darkroom. If you have never had the opportunity to be in one, I recommend the experience to anyone interested.

Although working with film is still exciting (you have no idea what you're going to get!), I have spent many years now learning digital photography.  It turns out, I prefer it over film! 

I did my first wedding as a gift for my best friend's mom who was as much a mother to me. I used film and digital and "Mom" loved my work. That was all it took for me to fall in love with the world of wedding photography!

I spend considerable time on each job before the event and afterwards. I set up a meeting in person or over the phone to go over prelimiary questions, so introduce myself, and to gather information about what you, as my client are hoping for with our experience. Afterwards I utilize quality programs to enhance your photos and offer you excellent prints with first-rate service. The programs I have offer many different avenues for capturing your moments! 

One option I hope to set up in the near future is a website linked off my home site to view your wedding photos and order prints. These individualized sites will be complete with personal logins and passwords that you can give to friends and family to view only your event as well.
